For the love of God I hope you see this before you make reservations! My husband said, "I wouldn't go in there without a full body suit on," when referring to the restroom/showers. He is usually more adventurous then I am. This is the worst campground we have ever stayed in. It's not a campground, it is a dilapidated trailer park full of hooligans on dirt bikes, 4 wheelers, three wheelers (thought they were outlawed!) and go carts.. you name it. If it made noise, and they could get it to start at 7AM and was nuisance, they had it. This place is not safe for children. Friday night, the domestic violence issue woke at least one person in two of the three units in our group, and we were on the opposite end of the place, near the entrance. Thankfully, there was no gunshot. We suspect the Saturday night lights and sirens visit of Sheriff and ambulance to be routine. Others already reviewing this place mentioned the train. We'd like to point out it is TRAINS.. every 3 hours (my husband says more frequent than that!) and they are almost running right through your campsite. We dumped on a site with sewer hookup (fortunately vacated early, probably because of the wake up call dirt bike brat) because the dump station was in the neighborhood where the crack house trailers were. There were TWO different units (if you can call a dump like that a unit) with signs warning "video surveillance"?. They sure aren't protecting their property.. We would stop overnight on a roadside before staying here again. Despite the fact that there are ample dumpsters, the more permanent residents consistently fill their fire rings with trash, including plastic milk jugs.. and burn it.. The place stinks. The few other "visitors" we met were disgusted as well.

Nice location. Sites are too close, but we were very pleased during our stay early season-if the campground had been full we might not have been so pleased. Fires next door would have been within feet of us. Spacious, clean restrooms and separate showers that were the nicest we have ever encountered in a campground. There were rooms with a stand up shower with glass door and sink, mirror, bench, GFCI outlet. Maybe a third of the campground is seasonal, but they are in a separate area. Riverfront sites are not but most of the rest are pull through. This is the last campground before you start up the canyon towards Estes Park or Rocky Mountain National Park.

This campground sits beside a smooth, round stone beach with an absolutely breathtaking view of the mountains across Jackson Lake. The view alone is worth the cost. Site specific reservations can't be made, you get what you are assigned. sites were spacious enough, in an old growth lodge pole pine forest. Plenty of room for the kids to bike ride. Showers should be included, but aren't. Park operated horseback riding sells out fast, before we even got there, but the are better options nearby. Try A-OK Coral for a gorgeous ride into the Gros Ventre area. The Visitors center in Jackson Hole has dozens of brochures for others. Most are less costly than the park operation. Staff and park staff were all quite pleasant. We had a white fox in our campsite. Plenty of wildlife- Tons of Prong horn antelope, Moose on the road nearby, grisly bear near a back road to Jackson. We saw lots of wildlife in Yellowstone, including lots of bison half hour drive to the south gate. Jackson Hole is touristy but has plenty of shopping opportunity. Jenny Lake is gorgeous, close by and on the way to Jackson Hole.

This is beautiful park with plenty of activities to keep the whole family happy. The stables and Saturday evening hayrides are a big hit. Plenty shopping in nearby Nashville. Sites are close, especially in the "infield" areas (back to back sites) but ours was along a drive and had plenty of room to put out awnings and slides. Paved pads are somewhat short. $25 a night is a bit steep for no water or sewer hookups but thats the new Indiana State Parks Rate.

This is a recreation area and great for the kids. Pool with a separate water play area for younger kids, fitness center, miniature golf, paddle boats, shooting range. driving range, volley ball courts, soccer and ball fields. This isn't really a nature experience. We did not stay lakeside (no sewer over there). Only sites 158-241 have sewer hookup, but there is a dump station. Most of the sites are laid out in block streets, fairly level and back in only. Hookups are at the back of gravel pads so bring 50ft of hose. There is a camp ground map on their website. The available showers are completely inadequate for the size of campground, so plan to shower at off peak times. The park is gorgeous and the campground is one of the better layed out ones.

The showers aren't cleaned regularly, mold! This is a gorgeous park and the campground is the nicest we have stayed at so far. Paved pads and a spacious layout gives you the ease of setup with a feel of being in the forest. The park's amenities are great, plenty for kids and adults to do. The campground staff is wonderfully friendly!
